Medical patient monitors are a very common one in all kinds of medical electronic instruments. It is usually deployed in the CCU, ICU ward and operating room, rescue room and other used alone or networked with other patient monitors and central monitors to form a guardian system.
Modern medical patient monitors are mainly composed of four parts: signal acquisition, analog processing, digital processing, and information output.
1.Signal acquisition: The signals of human physiological parameters are picked up through electrodes and sensors, and light and pressure and other signals are converted into electrical signals.
2.Analog processing: Impedance matching, filtering, amplification and other processing of the acquired signals are carried out through analog circuits.
3.Digital processing: This part is the core part of modern mutiparameter patient monitors, mainly composed of analog-to-digital converters, microprocessors, memory, etc. Among them, the analog-to-digital converter converts the analog signal of human physiological parameters into a digital signal, and the operating procedure, setting information and temporary data (such as waveform, text, trend, etc.) are stored by the memory. The microprocessor receives the control information from the control panel, executes the program, calculates, analyzes and stores the digital signal, and controls the output, and coordinates and detects the work of each part of the whole machine.
4.Information output: display waveforms, text, graphics, start alarms and print records.
Compared with earlier monitors, the monitoring function of modern monitors has been extended from ECG monitoring to the measurement of various physiological parameters such as blood pressure, respiration, pulse, body temperature, Oxygen saturation, cardiac output vector, pH and so on. The content of the information output also changes from a single waveform display to a combination of waveforms, data, characters, and graphics; It can be monitored in real time and continuously, and can be frozen, remembered and played back; It can display the data and waveform of a single measurement, and can also perform trend statistics for a specific time period; Especially with the improvement of the level of computer application, the combination of software and hardware is based on a certain mathematical model, and the automatic analysis and diagnosis of diseases by modern monitors is also greatly enhanced.
